The Office of the Moscow City Duma is a permanently operating state body in charge of organizational, legal, analytical, information, documentation, procurement, financial, economic, utility and other support of the activity of the permanently operating supreme and sole legislative (representative) body of state power of Moscow – the Moscow City Duma.
The main goals of the Office are to create the required conditions for effective operation of the Duma, its structural divisions, rendering assistance to deputies in exercise of their powers.
The Office performs in close contact with the bodies of executive power of Moscow and also offices of the Council of Federation, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and other state bodies.
The structure and main functions of Office as well as the authorities of its leadership are described in the Regulations on the Office approved by the Duma resolution.
